Event Type: Technical lecture
13 March 2018 18:30 to 21:00
Worcester University - Worcester
The lecture will describe the application of mathematical modelling to a particularly complex, but numerous, mechanism. There are no drawings available of the mechanism, there is great dimensional variation between specimens, the material from which it is constructed is poorly understood and the control algorithm is largely unknown. Nevertheless it can be analysed using engineering principles to produce meaningful and useful results. The mechanism is a person and the application is biomechanics!
