Railway Division North Eastern Centre
The Centre’s aim is to provide a relaxed informative forum which enables people to keep abreast of developments within the Rail Industry, expand their network of contacts and explore new interests.
To achieve this, the Centre organises a range of events including presentations, papers, lectures and discussion forums on a wide variety of topics including local, national and international developments. These events are always of interest and where possible hot off the press and topical. We will also have some technical visits.
Our events are open to all – not just people in the Railway Industry.
Our events are a mixture of in-person and virtual, rotating around the principal railway centres in the North East of England, i.e. Leeds, York, Doncaster, Darlington, Sheffield and Newcastle, with the objective of broadening access.
If you like this programme, tell your friends and colleagues. If not, please tell us, or even better, join us.
When
Most of our meetings start at 1830. Some events start at different times, for example, visits or joint meetings with other organisations.
Who
The North Eastern Centre committee consists of a mixture of working and retired people from different areas across the rail industry. We all have one common passion – to share and drive the engineering developments within the railway industry.
