Welcome to the IMechE Teesside Area Panel

Serving the Teesside area our committee works very hard to organise lectures and industrial visits, recruit new members, help develop networks and support Continued Professional Development.

Past industrial visits have included visits to Sembcorp’s Wilton 10 Biomass Power Station and a tour of Tees Barrage.  Technical Lectures have covered topics from Non Destructive Testing – How to prevent things going bump in the night! to the Tornado Steam Train – 3 years on the Main Line.

The Panel meets every two months, newcomers are welcome to attend perhaps to offer ideas for a future event or even just to listen and meet the panel.  As part of the Teesside Committee, we have a Young Members Group, that arrange social activities that support the professional development and networking of members.

If you are interested in attending the next meeting, or offering suggestions or feedback on events, please contact us.

The Teesside Chair is Alan D'Ambrogio, e-mail alan.dambrogio@member.imeche.org

We look forward to seeing you at future events!
