A Linnet Aircraft

A well as an opportunity for socialising and networking with other local IMechE members, at the event Julian Hill will talk about the Linnet Project, a project giving the chance  for young people from the North-East to experience restoring a rare vintage aeroplane.

 Highly unusually, the intention is to restore the aircraft to full flight condition with the young people’s help and fly it from Julian’s farm airstrip in North Yorkshire.  

Julian will also talk about other historic aircraft and land vehicles that reside on his farm.

The event is free to IMechE Members and one guest
