A Joint Industry Project is addressing one of the most significant performance challenges facing chemical and process operators today: transforming asset integrity management by the use of the latest risk-based methods, digital technologies, non-invasive inspection techniques and more-efficient turnaround strategies. For that to be successful, the project also aims to improve mechanical integrity competence across the industry.
Early engagement from operators, service providers and technology developers has been exceptionally strong, demonstrating the high relevance and urgency of the programme.
After a short introduction by Alan D’Ambrogio, the webinar will feature an expert panel to:
- Introduce the objectives, scope and deliverables of the JIP, including development of a standardised Asset Integrity Transformation Framework;
- Discuss the industry- wide value and performance gap identified across UK chemical operators in relation to mechanical integrity, inspection practices and turnaround optimisation;
- Share early insights on how enhanced integrity strategies can reduce intrusive inspections, optimise turnaround duration and cost, and significantly improve safety and uptime.
- Highlight opportunities for operators, technology vendors and service partners to get involved and benefit directly from the programme;
- Set out planned deliverables.
After the panel discussion, the panel will answer questions posted in the Q&A and chat.
