Old Workington Fire Station - Workington
The Workington Transport Heritage Trust are a group of individuals dedicated to restoring vintage public transport vehicles. Principally at present their work is based around restoring buses, but the group has plans to work on restoring rail.
This is an excellent opportunity to delve into a part of the engineering history of the local area and see first-hand the work that’s being carried out to ensure that this is preserved.
