The Workington Transport Heritage Trust are a group of individuals dedicated to restoring vintage public transport vehicles. Principally at present their work is based around restoring buses, but the group has plans to work on restoring rail. This is an excellent opportunity to delve into a part of the engineering history of the local area and see first-hand the work that’s being carried out to ensure that this is preserved.

We have arranged for a tour of 'Tenacity', a prototype vessel designed to meet the growing demand to carry personnel and equipment to offshore infrastructure. This is a repeat event as the demand for the previous tour of the vessel was overwhelming and it was not possible to accommodate everyone that wanted to take part. Like the previous tour, spaces are limited so book early to ensure that you don't miss this opportunity for an inside look at this experimental boat.
