A visit to the brand new state-of-the art Mechanical Biological Treatment (MBT) Plant at Hespin Wood Resource Park, 5 miles north of Carlisle, which will process up to 75,000 Te of household waste per year from Copeland and Allerdale. Limited number (15 off). Possible coach travel at a cost and possible additional visit to Carlisle Aviation Museum as well depending on numbers.
