North Lancashire Young Member Panel

About the Panel

The IMechE North Lancashire Young Member’s Panel is the official group for students and young engineering professionals who study, work or live in the Lancashire area.  Previously the North-West Region Young Members, we organise events, arranging technical lectures, networking evenings and career talks, promoting the Mechanical Engineering discipline through supporting universities in the Lancashire Region, including Lancaster University.

As a recently formed panel, we intend on diversifying our committee to include young professionals, undergraduates and postgraduates from different universities and companies in Lancashire.

The NLYM Panel will provide its members with opportunities to attend careers talks, academic lectures and technical visits in addition to networking and social events.  We also aim to improve the IMechE’s links with universities, companies and other institutions based in Lancashire.

The events we host are organised for you, so whether you have a query, want to get involved in the committee or simply just want to come along and see what we do, we look forward to hearing from you!
