The IMechE’s Young Members Panel (YMP) for South Lancashire (SL) region is organizing an exclusive tour of the historic building and facilities. The tour on the day will present an opportunity to look at both the recently restored and ongoing restoration of railway carriages and landmarks. 2025 marks the bicentenary of the Stockton & Darlington Rly, with the newest lottery award going to restore the surviving S&DR signal box (built 1861) to operating condition.
