A talk on powertrain engineering at Aston Martin which will feature the development of V12 engines right up to the latest V12 engine to be launched in 2016.

First introduced in DB7 in 1999 the Aston Martin V12 engine has evolved from 420 bhp to 590 bhp in the Aston Martin GT12.  Special limited editions of the same engine have been launched at 750 bhp in the Aston Martin One-77 and more than 800 bhp in the recent Aston Martin Vulcan. The motorsport version of the V12 has powered Aston Martin to World Sports Car and Le Mans victories.  Aston Martin will  continue to use a V12 engine as its top of the range power plant in the launch of new cars starting in 2016.
