Join Carl Robertshaw as he inspires us to look up and discover the science, art and nature in the world of kites and how they influence our world.

Carl is a unique multidisciplinary designer and artist with a vast portfolio that intersects performance, engineering and fine art. Carl has worked on world stages like the Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show and the 2012 London Olympic Ceremony, and enjoyed collaborating with artists such as Björk, Kylie Minogue, Peter Gabriel, and Anohni.

Carl recently completed two major set-piece designs—the Mind Flayer and the USS Eldridge ship—for the award-winning Broadway show, Stranger Things: The First Shadow, directed by Stephen Daldry, which won the Special Tony Award for Illusions and Technical Effects.
