    Webinar
    A slowdown of ocean currents associated with the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC) and the resulting change to climates has profound implications for the outcomes of our strategies for adaptation and resilience. This webinar will consider the potential climate changes, possible impacts on the built environment and engineered infrastructure, and how we should account for these in the development of adaptation and resilience building activities, including design methods and codes.

    Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult: Floating Wind Innovation Centre - Aberdeen
    The group will be guided through the test facilities at the Floating Wind Innovation Centre, located in the Energy Transition Zone in Altens, Aberdeen, with a focus on how the facility tests subsea electrical cables for the offshore wind sector. About Flowic: FLOWIC's focus is on the development, testing and qualification of critical floating wind technologies including moorings, anchoring and dynamic cable systems. They also cover the design and optimisation of floating wind technologies.
