Description
Design Methodology: Step by Step Overview on How to Design a WindFloat® Foundation

This presentation outlines Principle Power’s approach to designing and delivering floating wind foundations using WindFloat® technology, covering the full lifecycle from engineering and execution through operations and decommissioning.
The participants will learn how Principle Power leverages more than a decade of operational experience across diverse marine environments to informs both technical and commercial decisions to ensure cost-efficient deployment of commercial scale projects. The session will highlight Principle Power’s Pre-FEED processes and the company’s experience to identify and mitigate risks early in design, strengthening the technical basis and overall business case for floating wind projects.
Please book using the ticket function near the top of the page.
Following the end of the presentation at 7.30 pm there will (for IMechE Members only) an opportunity to find out more about the future of the London HQ where we will be joined (via teams) by Graham Taylor from the IMechE Head-Quarters Sponsor Board to understand the options looked at, the process used, and the final option recommended to members for vote, and whilst to some the London HQ seems so distant, why this is so important to the future of the IMechE.
There will be an opportunity to ask questions on the day or they can be submitted in advance to Nick Graves using the contact link at the bottom of the page.
