Event Type: Technical lecture
08 December 2026 19:00 to 20:00
*TBC
Time-varying photonics explores new ways to control light by rapidly changing the materials through which it travels. This talk introduces how ultrafast changes in special optical materials can control light’s energy, direction, and polarization. It will highlight recent advances in ultrafast light control, enhanced light emission, space-time photonics, and machine learning, and discuss future applications in optical technologies and quantum science.
Industry: Telecommunications, communications & IT
