Description
Naval system stakeholders are faced with significant economic constraints and ever changing security threats. They must deliver the capacity and capability to meet the needs of today but to also stay ahead of the challenges that could arise in the future.
To stay in front of and respond to emerging issue and threats requires innovation. New capabilities must be established, while improvements are made to existing products, services and technologies. It calls for system owners, industry and academia to deliver collaborative innovations that support the current and future naval systems.
At this IMechE Glasgow and SW Scotland Area Event a series of speakers will discuss the challenges and benefits that can be realised though innovation and collaboration. Newtorking and refreshments will take place from 18:00, with the presentations beginning sharp at 18:30.
