IMechE Glasgow Young members Panel and Babcock International are hosting a mock assessment centre to maximise your potential in applications.

 

The event will offer an insight into the tasks and practical exercises you are likely to face as part of leading employer's recruitment process. Practice your skills in a risk-free environment and benefit from professional feedback and coaching support, thanks to graduates from Babcock.

 

You will find out how to demonstrate the qualities recruiters may be looking for by practicing techniques designed to maximise your impact at assessment centres. Get feedback on your performance and hints and tips to help you succeed in your interviews.

 

The main areas covered include:

Competency-based interviews

Group exercises

Psychometric testing

 

The event will run in 4 sessions throughout the day in groups of 5. The sessions are at the following times, with the following format:

10 minute introduction, 60 minute assessment, 10 minutes discussion, 10 minutes feedback.

 

0915 – 1045 Session 1

1100 – 1230 Session 2

1230 – 1330 Lunch and chat with any candidates who wish to ask about Babcock’s Graduate Programme.

1330 – 1500 Session 3

1515 – 1645 Session 4
