There is more than one strategy that you can use to search for a graduate job, it is not always about looking for advertised vacancies. Sometimes a good strategy is to reach out to companies speculatively. This can be a useful way to approach smaller employers who don’t recruit graduates onto a formal Graduate scheme or to find jobs in a highly specialised field or specific location.
Just like applying for advertised vacancies, this needs a targeted approach to be productive. June’s presentation will offer advice and top tips on how to prepare for and make speculative applications.

Drawing from their own experiences and lessons learnt from their own careers, our two senior engineers will discuss a variety of UK engineering career options and answer high level questions from the audience.
