The event: Join the Glasgow young member’s panel and 4 entrepreneurs on how to start your business. With many opportunities from grants, loans, and funding, it is easier than ever to start your business. So should you? And how do you go about doing that? The event aims to give you insight into what it takes to run your own business and how you can also start your own. Who should attend? This event encourages people who are either looking to set up their own engineering business or just want to find out more about entrepreneurship. It is open to both university students and professional engineers ready to launch or at the early stages of their business.

You will learn how to plan out your business and launch it effectively. The event will give you more insight into the day-to-day challenges of running a business. It will also teach you what steps you can take to grow individually as an entrepreneur. Many hurdles will come your way and some key challenges and how to overcome them. The event will also contain insight from our entrepreneur speakers and their experience of running an enterprise. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and engage with our speakers to answer a particular question you may have reading setting up a new or existing business.
