2022 / 2023 PROGRAMME

We are pleased to announce our programme of events for the forthcoming 2022/23 season; with topics ranging from Adhesion management and a day in the life of an RAIB inspector, through to the introduction of the Glasgow subway’s new trains, I hope you will agree that you will find plenty of items of interest. I would like to particularly highlight the Railway Division Chair’s address on the 17th of November; we are keen to provide Noel a warm Scottish welcome for this event and I would encourage as many as possible to join us for this. Likewise, the Future of Rail competition is always a highlight of the centre’s year and a strong support for the young entrants is always appreciated.

As the UK moves further away from COVID restrictions, we hope to see many more of you “face to face” than has been possible in recent times with all events currently planned to have an “In person” focus. That said, the use of technology to provide hybrid events has provided the ability for us to share our events with people all across the world as well as those more local who simply are unable to attend in person and, for this reason, we intend to continue to offer this option for our events.

I look forward to seeing you soon.
