    The presentation will cover the history of the Waverley, its maintenance and engineering systems. She is a beautiful example of mid-20th century steamship design, and a product of Glasgow’s once proud shipbuilding industry. The presentation will also explain how boiler problems prevented Waverley sailing in 2019 and the challenges of providing new boilers so that the ship can sail in 2020.

Verdant Works and the Engineering Heritage Awards Committee would like to invite the local IMechE membership and the general public to this prestigious celebration at Verdant on Sunday 25 August 2019. The tour will include details and demonstrations of the products and services delivered by Angus 3D Solutions. These will include the following, 3D Printing Bureau Solutions, 3D Scanning Services, Vacuum Casting and 3D CT Scanning.
