Welcome to IMechE - Thurso Area

This site is used to update you on events and activities organised by the IMechE in the Thurso area. We encourage you to get involved and hope that you’ll find something of interest.

Although somewhat geographically remote, our area is the base for a wide range of ongoing engineering activities including nuclear, renewables, (onshore and offshore wind and tidal), and oil and gas related.  We actively promote engineering in general, our talks and visits being open and usually free to anyone with an interest in engineering.
