The Royal Commonwealth Pool is a versatile water sports centre hosting a 50m swimming pool, a 5m deep dive pool and a training pool, which, equipped with movable floors, suit a wide variety of activities and sports for both leisure and professional competitions. Behind the scenes there is a large water filtration system, several air-handling units and an on-site chlorine production unit that keep this A-listed building functioning. This visit aims to provide you with an overview of the technicalities required for a leisure venue of this kind, as well as an insight of its structure following the £37 million refurbishment in 2012. https://www.edinburghleisure.co.uk/venues/royal-commonwealth-pool Each visit begins at 6pm: maximum number of attendees 10. Those registered to attend will receive instructions by email prior to the event regarding the meeting point
