Stephen Slessor
CEO of RSE Group of Companies
Stephen is the Chief Executive Officer of RSE Group of Companies, having taken on the role in January 2024. Based in Edinburgh, Scotland, Stephen leads the full spectrum of operations and strategic initiatives aimed at advancing RSE’s position as a leader in water technology solutions. His leadership is driven by a commitment to innovation and excellence across the sector. In addition to his role at RSE, Stephen serves as a Non-Executive Director at British Water. Here, he contributes to shaping the future of the UK’s water and wastewater industry by fostering strategic alliances and promoting sustainable practices across UK and international platforms. Stephen has also been appointed as a Strategic Advisor to OFWAT on the £56Bn RAPID programme. His career has been distinguished by strategic leadership in various capacities, including significant roles at Scottish Futures Trust, President of the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors and as Divisional Managing Director at Galliford Try, where he was pivotal in driving multi million-pound investment programmes of work from AMP5 to AMP7.
Prof. Helen Messe PhD CEng MIMechE
Past Chair, IMechE Biomedical Engineering Division
Prof. Helen Meese is an award-winning chartered mechanical engineer with over 20 years’ experience in industry and academia. She is currently a Royal Society Entrepreneur in Residence at Durham University. She is CEO of The Care Machine, an engineering consultancy that works with early-stage innovators to develop medical technology and services. Some of her clients include NHS England, University of Sheffield, Loughborough University and University of Cambridge. She is passionate about all aspects of STEM and provides mentoring and coaching to young engineers. She was creator & host of the IMechE’s engineering podcast, Impulse to Innovation from 2020 to 2024. She is immediate past Chair of the IMechE’s Biomedical Engineering Division and a past Trustee, Co-Chair of the Royal Academy of Engineering’s Healthcare Community of Interest, and a Health Foundation Q Community member..

Corporate packages are available to all companies. By reserving a corporate package for £900 excl. VAT you will receive 10 Annual Dinner tickets (one full table) and company branding will be included in all promotional material used in the lead-up to and on the night of the event.
The second corporate option for £1050 excl. VAT includes a donation of £150 to sponsor three seats on our student tables at the event. Limited Availability.
Individual tickets are available for members and non-member guests and cost £90 excl. VAT.
