Description

Join us for a visit to Verlume, specialist in subsea battery technologies.

This is the third in a series of Aberdeen IMechE summer tours of companies involved with offshore power.

Specialising in subsea batteries and power management systems, Verlume is the world leader in these technologies, ensuring that reliable subsea power is delivered to clients through the company’s intelligent energy management system.

Verlume’s smallest capacity scale technology offering is Charge – a seabed-based, rechargeable pressure encapsulated battery unit capable of delivering dependable and reliable power in the offshore sector for applications such as powering remote oil and gas equipment or remote sensors. In addition, Halo is a modular battery energy storage system with an integrated energy management renewable interface for extended or permanent power applications. Orah is the largest capacity of these systems which has been developed for shallow water applications, such as offshore wind.

The event will consist of a presentation followed by a show and tell of the technology with a chance to see some of the equipment developed by Verlume

No PPE is required.
