The term circular economy now encompasses carbon and green house gases, the natural world, material resources and water.  Developing circularity in these ecologies and an overall circular economy is an essential element of treasuring our planet and becoming sustainable.  

This is the third in a series four of webinars that will highlight the need for a circular economy and then highlight the lessons and barriers in moving to a Circular Ecology in the process sector.  The four webinars will cover: 

  1. Food and drink and Pharmaceutical sectors
  2. Water and Bulk Handling sectors
  3. Upstream and Downstream Oil, Gas and Chemicals
  4. Discussion of common themes from the three presentations.

This Event has been organised by the Sustainability and Environment Working Group of the Process Industries Division of the IMechE whose vision is ‘Treasuring our planet of future generation’. It is hosted by Process Industries Division and promoted across the Centres in the North West and Yorkshire Regions, the Aberdeen Area, the North East area, Midlands,all part of the Process Industries Community.
