Natural Hazards Triggering Technical Disasters, NaTech and Climate Change are an ever-growing challenge for high hazard industries, but what are the safety implications of such events and how can we assess the associated risks?
In the third of the series, Aimee Russell, a Senior Process Safety and Technical Analyst at RAS Ltd will combine her background in natural hazards with her ten years of experience in process safety to provide practice-based insights into the world of NaTech and Climate Change risk assessments. She will describe an overview method which can be used to perform such assessments, as well as present real-world examples of NaTech events and what we can learn from them.
