Description

Wärtsilä is a global leader in marine and energy technologies, helping customers improve performance, reliability, and sustainability across some of the world’s most critical industries. Operating in nearly 80 countries with around 18,000 employees, Wärtsilä delivers integrated solutions spanning engines, propulsion, power generation, energy storage, digital optimisation, and long‑term lifecycle services.

The presentation will explore how alternative fuel engine technologies developed by Wärtsilä are paving the way for a more sustainable marine industry. We’ll cover the latest advances in fuel versatility, including biofuels, synthetic fuels, and hydrogen, and discuss their impact on emissions reduction and operational efficiency. Attendees will gain insight into the practical steps Wärtsilä and its partners are taking to drive the industry forward, with real-world examples and a look at the challenges and opportunities ahead.

We will meet at 6pm for refreshments and a chat prior to the presentation beginning at 6.30pm.
