We’re living in a world where industrial plants were designed and operated based on past climatic conditions. However, we’re now experiencing increasing threats and risks from climate change, so need to be resilient to more frequent and extreme weather events, and other climate impacts. What challenges does this bring to the engineering community? IChemE and IMechE are collaborating on a series of webinars to focus on the adaptation needs of industry to cope with changing climatic impacts
