Joint RINA Scottish Branch and IMechE Talk “Ice loads on ships: Endurance, Agulhas, and the Global Warming” The talk will review our understanding of ice loads on ships, with emphasis on experimental research, including the measurements conducted during the Endurance22 expedition. The talk will also discuss the effects of the global warming on polar navigation.
