McLaren Automotive unveiled the ground-breaking McLaren P1™ as a Design Concept at the Paris Motor Show in 2012. The car was conceived with one clear goal – to be the ultimate driver’s car in the world on road and track. In order to achieve this ambitious objective McLaren utilised the knowledge and technology gained throughout more than 50 years of racing at the highest level of motorsport. The result is the most technologically-advanced car ever built in the UK; featuring state-of-the-art aerodynamics, innovative IPAS petrol-electric powertrain and generating unprecedented amounts of downforce for a road car.
The McLaren P1™ was available as a limited-edition of 375 examples and all units were spoken for ahead of the customer deliveries in October 2013.
