Welcome to the Sussex and Surrey Area.

The Sussex and Surrey Area has a vibrant organisation which promotes many events, liaises with local engineering companies and encourages all engineers to participate in the Institution’s future.

Our events consist of tours, seminars and talks related to engineering topics of current interest, with some emphasis on the key themes of Energy, Environment, Education, Transport, and Major Engineering Projects.
