Salvington Hill - Worthing
High Salvington Windmill is an excellent example of a working post mill dating from approximately 1750.The mill has been extensively restored and was able to restart grinding in 1991.
The tour will be led by two experience guides that have extensive knowledge about the restoration of the mill and its continued maintenance.
Tea/Coffee and cake is included in the price of the ticket.

The Speak Out for Engineering (SofE) competition is organised annually by the IMechE's local volunteer groups. It was originally established in 1964 to challenge young engineers to prove they could "communicate effectively", which is still an important area in developing engineers today.

The Sussex and Surrey Young Members have organised a guided tour of Shoreham Power Station. The event will include a talk on the history of the site, operations and maintenance and a tour around the main parts of the facility.

An exciting technical lecture about how Air Products have created the World's largest air separation facility in Saudi Arabia. This will supply 75,000 metric tons per day (20,000 oxygen and 55,000 nitrogen) to Saudi Aramco’s refinery being built in Jazan, Saudi Arabia for 20 years.
To be held at Thales in Crawley. Light refreshments will be provided from 18.00-18.30.
Parking on site available, please arrive at Gate 1 (on Manor Royal, near A23 junction)
