Description

The projected demand for increases in trains per hour and the need to replace assets reaching the end of life is driving the Four Lines Modernisation Programme. Despite highly complex flat junctions, interfaces to other signalling systems and the need to accommodate unfitted rolling stock, the re-signalling of London Underground’s District, Hammersmith and City, Metropolitan and Circle Lines has been an almost unprecedented challenge. Hear how this challenge is being met from Transport for London’s Project Director, Chris Hobden and Head of Engineering Capital Projects, Sam Etchell.

Light refreshments will be served from 17:30 with the talk starting at 18:00.

Attendees are encouraged to attend in-person to take advantage of networking and engagement with our speaker. An online option will be provided using Teams. Meeting joining instructions will be emailed closer to the event.
