Description

As the manufacturer of the only purpose-built high-powered diesel outboard engine, Cox Marine is working to power the global marine industry through sustainable innovation, applying alternative fuel sources, aiming to significantly reduce marine emissions and the total cost of ownership for our customers.

This tour will take in key elements of Cox's dedicated production facility in Shoreham with an overview of the design layout of a high performance diesel outboard, with a walk through both the engine assembly facility and the fairly unique engine test facility.  If weather and available light allows, there will also be a chance to take a look over Cox's world speed record holding vessel, Pegasus.

Speaker(s)

James Eatwell, MSc, MEng, CEng, has had a 20 year career in powertrain engineering, joining Cox Marine as Chief Engineer in 2015, where he is now Technical Director.
