South Wales Region Committee Opportunities

_______________________________________________________

The South Wales Regional Committee of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers are seeking to recruit volunteers in the region to fulfil four specific volunteer roles.

The IMechE is a pioneering organisation at the forefront of the mechanical engineering profession since 1847. This is your opportunity to play your part by using your skills and experience to make a profound impact and help to improve the world through engineering.

There are many benefits to be gained from volunteering in your region with the IMechE, both for you and for your employer. Whilst applying your skills and knowledge to benefit our region you will make new contacts and friends and gain essential career experience by networking with peers to expand your knowledge and benchmark yourself. Through volunteering with the IMechE you can develop valuable job skills such as public speaking, influencing and guiding others to name a few, with most volunteer activity counting toward your CPD.

We know your time is valuable; whilst the roles should not be too challenging, and the goals will be achievable allowing your employed career and family life to be supplemented with the rewards of volunteering.

If you are a member of the IMechE and would like to volunteer, then please apply by sending a covering letter stating why you would be suitable for the role to:
