Technical lecture
14 May 2019 18:45 - 20:30
This event has finished

The talk will focus on research work undertaken by Centre for Automotive Power Systems Engineering (CAPSE), at University of South Wales and how  this increased knowledge in battery sizing for various platforms at Aston has helped the with their various vehicle platforms.

The research specifically focuses on the cell topography of lead acid batteries in partnership with Yuasa, and the effect this has on battery failure modes, life cycle and deep cycling of batteries.  The work enabled Yuasa Batteries to overcome failure modes they were experiencing in the field.

Please note: Lecture will follow the Annual General Meeting of The South Wales Region.

 Lecture Start: 6:45pm
