Description

Over the last one hundred years coalmining has played a pivotal role in sculpting our environment, industries and communities within South Wales. With the move towards generating our energy requirements from renewable sources and ultimately targeting carbon zero status has resulted in the generation of alternative energy generation solutions. Within this presentation an overview will be presented on our energy generation story so far then demonstrate the future that marine, wind and energy storage and combustion will play over our next 100 years of energy usage.
