Welcome to the Thameswey Region

Thank you for visiting the Thameswey Region page on Near You.  We're here to help you get the most out of the IMechE in the region, and support you as you follow the pathways to become or maintain your careers as professional engineers.

This includes showcasing the talents of our members via in-person or on-line events, social gatherings or supporting our members as they engage with schools and universities during Science, Engineering, Technology and Mathematics (STEM) events.

You can help us to help other engineers in the area by volunteering to run those events and sharing your knowledge, expertise and passion with others.

If you'd like to know more about what we do, or would like help to organise events in the region, then please get in touch or contact us via our LinkedIn page.

Our region is made up of four Areas and a Young Member Panel:

1. Chiltern
2. Farnborough and Guildford
3. Oxford
4. Reading
5. Thameswey Young Member Panel

We organise events and activities locally in each area, and across the region as a whole.  See a selection of upcoming events below, or visit the Area pages for more details.
