The Area Committee is here to help you get the most out of your Institution, through the arranging of local events and provision of services – let us know what you want to see and do!
We look forward to welcoming you to one of our forthcoming events.
Events Programme
Details of our forthcoming programme can be found here. What else would you like to see presentations on? if you have any ideas or suggestions get in touch and let us know!
Events typically start at 1900hrs.
You should receive email updates from us regarding events, we aim to send these approximately one month, and then one week, prior to each event. We do not have access to your individual email addresses as, for Data Protection reason, the database is managed centrally by the IMechE. Please go to the ‘member log in’ of the main IMechE website to ensure your information is correct or to amend as appropriate.
Reading committee
We're always looking for new committee members to help maintain an interesting event schedule or pitch in with running the area. Our meetings are held on weekday evenings every 6 weeks (typically 7.00pm and lasting 1 hour) at a local venue or over MS Teams. Please contact our area Chairperson or Secretary via the contact us page.
