Speak Out for Engineering is a competition for young engineers designed to help develop verbal and visual communication in explaining technical mechanical engineering related subjects. Getting professionally registered as EngTech, IEng or CEng is a key step in an engineer’s career and demonstrates to employers and potential employers, an engineer’s competence in their field and their commitment to development of their knowledge and career. The talk will explain the requirements for registration, explain the application process and offer tips on how to prepare an application and present yourself at interview to demonstrate the level of competence reached.
