    Booking Essential - Meet The IMechE President Phil Peel from 1800, a finger buffet will be available from 1830, an opportunity for members to meet and network. Phil Peel will then talk from 1900 about his career and year as IMechE President. This will be followed by a technical lecture 'A Robotic Menagerie' by Rob Siddall.

Addressing climate change is a critical global challenge that requires the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions to net zero. The UK has a commitment in law to delivering net zero by 2050. The talk addresses what will need to be done in Oxfordshire to deliver the net-zero goal.
