About the Committee
Covering the towns of Bournemouth, Poole, Swanage, Ringwood & Christchurch, we have a membership of approximately five hundred. Over many years we have built up a reputation for holding successful engineering technical talks and industry visits.
We also have a long standing relationship with our local university and its students, supporting them through their courses and entry into the professional engineering world.
The IMechE and Bournemouth Area committee are keen to support the ongoing professional development of Engineers in their journey to Chartered and Fellow membership status, and run a bi-annual “Get Registered” event. Should you be in need of a sponsor to support your application, please feel free to contact our committee and we can arrange an informal meeting to discuss and progress your application.
