Description

The Institution of Mechanical Engineers Railway Division (South
West Centre) present their twice yearly prestige lecture event, this year focussing on the Class 444/450 fleet. 

It will an in depth look at the first 15 years of service operation of the Class 444/450 fleet,highlighting and discussing the successes and failures seen over this period of operation.

The lecture is complemented by free careers advice sessions,
supported by a range of railway industry employers, to discuss
everything from summer internship opportunities and Year In
Industry support, through to longer term career advice.
The careers session commences at 17.45 and there will be
tea/coffee provided. 

After the lecture there will be opportunities to continue discussions with railway industry employers, together with complementary pizza and drinks.

The Lecture will be jointly presented by South Western Railway Engineering Director, Neil Drury and Siemens Fleet Delivery Manager, Andy Healey.
