Activities
While we are always keen to promote, manage and participate in established HQ events we are also supportive of any STEM activity that can aid the development of Engineering education.
Current Activities

The Wessex region actively support Earth Future; a Primary School activity day designed to inspire pupils towards Engineering careers and to demonstrate the climate change challenges they may face in those careers.
Expert speakers and Engineering Mentors explain what challenges will exist in the future and work with groups of pupils to engineer methods to combat these. Adaptation and Mitigation is considered as groups concentrate design ideas toward final presentations and prizes.
This activity day is available to your school and will cost you nothing.
