Description
Inspire the Next Generation
In order to encourage engagement with young people and inspire the next generation, we are inviting you to come along to learn how to run fun engineering activities aimed at primary age children.
Participants will make their own electric fan boats and vibrating brush monsters. The projects are designed to tie in with the school curriculum (D&T, electricity, forces and materials) and to provide a fun, engaging, design and build experience. Visit Caroline's website to find out more: www.technologyforfun.co.uk
This is a joint event with the Association of Science Education so that engineers will have schools to work with and vice versa. If you want to work with a particular school/teacher you could also invite the relevant teacher to book onto the event using this link:

Engineers will have access to class packs of materials with which to run the activities. Memory sticks will be provided to all attendees containing lesson plans, PowerPoints and pupil worksheets to help them plan and conduct the activities in class.
