This event is a fantastic opportunity for engineering professionals and enthusiasts to delve into the innovative technology and processes behind anaerobic digestion, a cornerstone of sustainable energy production.

Gorst Energy is an anaerobic digestion (AD) facility located in Clyst St Mary, on the outskirts of Exeter. They process agricultural feedstocks supplied by local farmers, primarily pig manure and sustainably grown crops. Using high-quality AD technology, the feedstock is broken down to produce biogas and digestate. The plant provides green energy to Exeter and East Devon. Join the committee on a tour of the plant.
