Devon and Cornwall Area Committee AGM + talk from Phil Underwood discussing the 'Art of Engineering'. The evening will begin with the talk before AGM formalities. The talk will explore how engineers think and turn ideas into reality. Drawing on problems and projects from the rail industry to understand Engineering as ‘A WAY OF THINKING’, how engineers SOLVE PROBLEMS, the TOOLS they use and how engineers DEVELOP. Then look at how an ‘engineering way of thinking' can help solve business problems.
