The Plymouth branch of Engineers Without Borders (EWB) are hosting a discussion about the technology and policy of sustainable energy in the developing world for anyone new to the topic wanting to find out more.

The guest speaker will be Ray Holland, who has more than thirty years experience with the Intermediate Technology Group (now known as Practical Action:
http://practicalaction.org/) delivering demand-driven community infrastructure investments on practical issues concerning technology development and transfer, and small enterprise development projects in Africa, Asia and Latin America.

He will be stimulating discussion around global issues of energy and development, focusing on Africa, and relating to appropriate technology solutions, especially the theme of Sustainable Energy for All: http://www.se4all.org/
