Description
This seminar will give delegates the opportunity to learn about control in manufacturing operations, and to hear from companies with experience of using or delivering their own efficient processes. It will also examine some of the latest research into industrial metrology and the role and requirements of additive manufacturing (metal 3D printing) in a future production mix.
Advanced manufacturing has to deliver increasingly complex parts with high levels of design and ever shorter product lifecycles, often requiring new technology and processes. Understanding and controlling sources of variation is critical to adding value and achieving high productivity in manufacturing processes.
Hosted at Renishaw’s Innovation Centre (at its headquarters in Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire), the seminar will include demonstrations of process control techniques with machine tools, software and inspection equipment, and provide plenty of opportunities to ask questions and learn from specialists. It is recommended for manufacturing engineers, technical managers and designers.
