As such, on 1st June we are re launching the Cornwall branch of
the committee.
To mark the occasion, we have organised an event at the Alverton Hotel to provide an
exciting networking opportunity with FREE pasties and cream teas with an insightful and exciting presentation from Robert Backus of Bristows Group 'State of the Art Search and Rescue'

by joining our committee. This FREE
event is open to members, non-member and the general public
The newly formed
Cornwall branch will organise a wide portfolio of events and activities, most
of which will be open to the general public and free to attend. These will include evening lectures for
general interest; technical visits to local engineering firms; social and
professional networking events; engineering competitions; and mentoring
opportunities for local students and professional engineers.
In addition, the
committee will engage with local schools to support the teaching of Science,
